This workout almost didn’t happen because baby girl was being a little cranky pants, but my gram came to the rescue and entertained London (with a cookie)! 🙌🏼
And I’ll be honest, I had a donut for breakfast! 🍩 My aunt went to my favorite bakery early this morning, so I couldn’t be rude and decline her kind gesture! 😉
But I didn’t let that donut derail my day! I still did my workout, had my superfood shake, drank my water, and am staying on track the rest of the day! 💃🏻
In the past, I would’ve said, “F it! I already ruined my good eating for the day, so why workout?!” 🤷🏻♀️
But now I realize that life is about balance. I don’t need to be 100% on point or 100% off. And THAT is the true secret to my weightloss success. #balance
Anytime I try to be too strict, I give up. So if I reeaaallly want a treat, I have it and then move on. It’s NOT a downward spiral of bingeing, it’s just a little treat (and I don’t like to use the word “cheat” because then it feels guilty. And I don’t believe in feeling guilty over food)!
